Bulgaria Nevena Semova is an emerging film-maker and producer based between her native Bulgaria and Estonia where she received her Master’s Degree in Film Production from the Erasmus Mundus Program Kinoeyes. In 2022, she established her production company Attic Films in Bulgaria and became a partner at the Estonian Fat Cat Film. Currently, Nevena is in production of two shorts and one feature film, as well as a number of other projects in development both within Attic Films in Bulgaria and Fat Cat Film in Estonia. For her work as producer, Nevena has received the Baltic Producers MEDIA award 2022, the Young Producer award at the Golden Femi Film Festival 2023 and was selected as one of ten emerging producers to take part in the New Producer’s Room during the Cannes Film Festival 2023.
