Germany, Ukraine Born in Odesa, Ukraine (1994) and raised in Germany, Kirill Komar has been based in Vienna since 2013. He began his directorial career in 2021 working in music videos and commercials. He turned his focus to filmmaking in 2023, and has written and directed three short films in collaboration with Varia Garib: Aysu, Mosquito and Yuragim.
